Author(s) | Manuel de Araújo |

Addressee(s) | Gaspar Gueto |
In English | Letter from Manuel de Araújo, apothecary, to Gaspar Gueto, apothecary. The author writes Gaspar Gueto notifying him that he could not find what he has requested. Gaspar Gueto, apothecary and resident in Pontevedra, was sued in 1722 by Antonio de las Heras, resident in Monforte, because of an unpaid debt. The due amount was 130 «reales de vellón», the price of certain products Antonio de las Heras had given him for the pharmacy. It was the defendant who handed over the letter to the tribunal, along with a receipt showing a reduction of 60 reales for that debt. The date of the letter and of the receipt (1708) is quite previous to the date of the process (1722), so both documents were rejected. |
