The author asks Pedro Mocarte to hire María Morales or to recommends her to some other respectable house, because she cannot work in her house anymore.

María Joaquina García Rada and Pedro Segundo García Jiménez had denounced that their house had been robbed while they were away. This letter was handed over by Pedro Mocarte to demonstrate what he had declared: that he had hired one of the accused of the burglary, María Morales, because she had been recommended by María Joaquina García, who had asked him to hire María de Morales in order to compensate her and her mother for the problems caused by her husband without provoking a public scandal. María Morales was eventually declared innocent, because her implication in the burglary could not be proved.
