In English | Unsigned letter from Sabina de Arroyo, a widow, to her daughter María de Morales, a servant. The author writes her daughter to tell her that the mayor and the bailiff of the town searched her house looking for bed sheets and jewels which have been stolen. María Joaquina García Rada and Pedro Segundo García Jiménez had denounced that their house had been robbed while they were away. María Morales was eventually declared innocent, because her implication in the burglary could not be proved. |
