Letter from Miguel de Gámez to Juan and Esteban de Aquerreta.

The author writes to Juan and Esteban de Aquerreta to inform them about their business. In particular, he tells them about the buying of liquorice, the sales, the prices and the maritime transportation of goods.

In 1558, Pedro de Arbieto brought a lawsuit against Juan de Aquerreta for the outstanding debt of 235,000 maravedís, for the buying of textiles goods from Flanders. He affirmed that just a part of the outstanding sum had been paid, and presented various letters to demonstrate the commercial relations between him and the accused.
