[1684-1686]. Bilhete entre participantes não identificados.

In English

Private note between unidentified participants.

The author asks for information on the whereabouts of certain people, and clarifies her/his situation.

The defendant in this process is Joana da Costa, accused of Judaism. She was the widow of Fernão Martins Gramacho, merchant. When she was in jail, this small note seems to have been found in her belongings. The circumstances of this finding, however, are not included in the documents, nor the identity of the participants in this act of communication, which, anyway, was not allowed to the inmates.

Let me know if Ana Vaz and the husband António Gomes have fallen. I am waiting to be released.
