Letter from Gregorio Alejandro de Ruipérez, a priest, to Juan Rodríguez del Páramo, a scribe.

The author tells to Juan Rodríguez del Páramo something which concerns both: someone seems to want to harm them. He also tells him about some words he found in a book, which can be considered censurable. However, he thinks that this is not important, because these words were not published or written in a public act, and that they had been written only for ignorance.

In 1730, Gregorio Alejandro de Ruipérez was accused of seducing or using his power while confessing people. However, he suspected that he had been arrested because in a book about the Third Order Regular of St. Francis were made annotations which could be considered as 'wrong propositions'. He defended himself alleging that those annotations had been dictated to him by Juan Rodríguez de Páramo, a scribe of the Third Order. It seems that Juan Rodríguez de Páramo had found a lot of interest for the Third Order among his parishioners, and for this reason he started to reunite them, and took annotations about the people and about other matters.

A text written by the addressee, along with the book, was given by the author to the apothecary of the convent.
