Letter from Juan Van Dellvalle to Antonio Villegas, a trader.

The author informs Antonio de Soto Villegas of a haberdashery shipment departing in the next vessel.

Antonio de Soto Villegas was a trader from Seville who had established an import business in Bruges for dealing goods from the Flemish provinces and their subsequent sale in Seville. In 1678, his properties were distributed and, as a consequence, his rightful heirs had to face their father´s creditors. Some of the aforementioned creditors were Jacinto Cosme de Herrera, a presbyter and a business partner; Juan Bautista Veneherten; Esteban Bot and Juan Van Dellvalle. The Real Audiencia of Seville made then an inventory of Antonio de Soto Villegas´ debts and, as a result: several invoices, accounts and letters addressed to the trader were provided to the proceeding documentation.
