1790. Carta de José Fernández para su padre Juan Fernández.

Author(s) José Fernández
Addressee(s) Juan Fernández
In English

Letter from José Fernández to his father Juan Fernández.

The author writes to his father, Juan Fernández, giving instructions about a proxy that he is going to receive and about other matters.

This legal proceeding began in 1791 in the Municipal Justice Court in Burgos to decide on the administration of Juan Ruiz de las Canales´ property management. Juan Ruiz had inherited from his parents, Manuel Ruiz and Catalina Gutiérrez, when he was still under-age. His uncle, Diego Gutiérrez Barguin, was his designated guardian and administrator until Juan Ruiz´s coming of age, as it can be verified in the provided documents. The letters are also intended to be prove of Diego Gutiérrez being responsible of everything. The trial is incomplete.

If there is no translation for the letter itself, you may copy the text (while using the view 'Standardization') and paste it to an automatic translator of your choice.
