António de Antas Barreto, vicar in the church of São Mamede de Sezures, Barcelos, was accused of sodomy with about 15 young men. He was denounced by Luís da Silva Coelho (letter PSCR0280), who knew that the vicar had harrassed the young man Francisco Teixeira (letters PSCR0281 and PSCR0282). The defendant was sentenced to four years out of the Kingdom and to pay the costs of the proceedings.
