While she was held in the jail of the Inquisition of Coimbra, she gave birth to a boy that many people could attest was the son of Manuel Leitão, a former guard in the same jail. This letter was probably sent by Manuel Leitão, who at that time was in Lisbon serving a sentence, to João de Oliveira, in Santa Comba Dão.
