Letter from a non-identified woman, probably a nun who signed A., to father José do Espírito Santo.

The author writes the description of some mystical experiences tried by a third woman. She sends news of two acquainteces of the addressee, two other women, and reports a miracle.

Father José do Espírito Santo was arrested in 1720, accused of solicitation and abused of his religious position. He was banned for 10 years to the most distant convent of his Order and forbidden to come back to Lisbon, Évora, Estremoz and Arraiolos.
