Letter from Miguel de Gámez to Esteban de Aquerreta.

The author writes to Esteban de Aquerreta to inform him about their business. He informs the addressee that he has sold all the liquorice and he tells him about the next goods he will sell and about their maritime transportation.

In 1558, Pedro de Arbieto brought a lawsuit against Juan de Aquerreta for the outstanding debt of 235,000 maravedís, for the buying of textiles goods from Flanders. He affirmed that just a part of the outstanding sum had been paid, and presented various letters to demonstrate the commercial relations between him and the accused.
