In English | Note from Ana María Lagunas y de Fanlo to Diego Jerónimo Montaner, notary and «familiar» of the Spanish Inquisition Tribunal. The author recommends that Diego Jerónimo Montaner take care of his health and eat correctly. The accused in this process was Ana María Lagunas y de Fanlo, widow of Diego Jerónimo Montaner, notary and «familiar» of the Spanish Inquisition Tribunal. In 1641 she was accused of insult by the Inquisition Tribunal of Zaragoza, for having written a defaming letter to his brother-in-law, Miguel Juan Montaner, in answer to his request that she respected the testamentary disposition of her late husband. The letters and notes which Ana María Lagunas y de Fanlo had sent to Diego Jerónimo Montaner while they were engaged were handed over by Miguel Juan Montaner and his father-in-law, Martín de Anzano, and used in the court proceedings in order to compare the handwriting with that of the defaming letter. Eventually, the accused was condemned to exile from Zaragoza for three years, and to the payment of fifty «ducados». Source: Navarro Bonilla, Diego (2004), Del corazón a la pluma.
